After Graduation - Finding a Broker

After graduation, you will need to find and affiliate with a Real Estate
Broker. Make sure to interview with several brokers. Each Brokerage is a
little different - SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK and ask LOTS of questions!

Here are a few questions that you should ask:
  1. What is the agent commission split?
  2. What services are provided by the Broker and how much do these
    services cost?
  3. What kind of marketing tools are provided by the Broker?
  4. Does the Broker provide any training? Is the training local?
  5. How does the Broker nurture/enhance your personal development
    and growth as an agent?
  6. Is the Broker licensed in multiple states? Will the Broker allow you
    to become licensed in multiple states?
  7. Does the Broker require floor/phone duty?
  8. Does the Broker allow equal participation on Broker managed New
    Construction listings?
  9. Does your Broker provide office space and services such as
    printing, internet, fax, and copying.
